Who we are, what we do and how you can be part of our work for better health and education in Tanzania.
Tanzania Flying Doctors Community Relief (TAF-DCR) is a non-governmental organisation affiliated with Dar es Salaam Flying Doctors (DFD). We exist to help people of all categories access better health services, education and a quality life.
Our work focuses on three areas:
- Health education on medical, general health and sanitary issues, and the fight against non-communicable diseases.
- Free health screening so that people can know their health status early.
- Education support for children who cannot afford school, especially in rural areas.
We believe lasting change comes when the Government, institutions, individuals and communities work together. You can join us by donating, volunteering or partnering with us.
